PreviewNetworks Stats App for iPhone

We are pleased to announce the launch of our PreviewNetworks Stats App for iPhone users. This is a compliment to our existing CMS which allows our clients to login and access cinema and home entertainment stats on the go. No need to be stuck behind a computer or monitor screen to see how the latest release is doing any longer.  Simply access the app on the iPhone and get an immediate picture on how many impressions a recent trailer is generating.

Stat App Benefits:

  • Check your movie trailer “day to day” statistic on the go
  • See trailer views generated by local media partners inside the Preview Network
  • Instant access to Preview Networks analytics:
    • Search for specific titles
    • Sort by premiere date
    • Sort by published date
    • Customized traffic period

The only thing required to access the iPhone app is an existing client login to the Preview Networks CMS.  Once logged in, the client can only access their own trailer view statistic.  For more information or to download the app, check it out on iTunes.

Cinematografo.it is iPad ready

The oldest Italian magazine dedicated to movies embraces the future with the new iPad app.

The Cinematografo.it app is targeted to both movie lovers and experts who want to be constantly updated with the latest movie releases.  It contains movie trailers currently out in theaters, including reviews of the hottest movies, and special features with guests and actors from the most major film festivals, together with the latest news from the “Rivista Del Cinematografo” newsroom.

All free to download via iTunes. This is not just another movie app.  It is a movie database that enables movie lovers and experts to dig into over 60,000 titles of reviews and cast information.  The app is easy to use and constantly updated with the latest movie trailers brought to you by Preview Networks.

My Movies iPhone App

We’re happy to announce another mobile app has joined our network and is available on iTunes.   My Movies iPhone Pro is now online displaying movie trailers from Preview Networks.  But that’s not the most interesting part of the application.

My Movies truly aims to be a complete movie database package solution by allowing you to keep your collection between multiple clients, platforms, and phones whether online or in a household.  You never have to worry about losing your fantastic movie collection because the application works off of an internal database so you don’t have to be online to search for what movie you should watch tonight.

Perhaps my favorite part of the application from an online marketing perspective is the camera barcode scanning feature that allows you to add a title to your collection or watch a movie trailer instantly while in a video store to determine whether or not it’s worth seeing.

Barcode scanning is nothing new, but it shows the increasing trend of instant gratification and immediate interaction between the average consumer and product on the shelf when it comes to online usage.    Read more about the My Movies iPhone App.

Filmtrailer App Review Round Up: Highest Marks for Preview Networks iPhone App

Since it’s launch in December 2009, Preview Network’s Filmtrailer iPhone Application has been an undeniable success. Downloaded 524,000 times and counting, the application has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from users and reviewers in multiple markets.

Now Updated
Filmtrailer v1.1, was released in June 2010 by Preview Networks, and includes a number of improvements to increase performance and stability as well as cinema listing and mapping functions in its French, German, and Spanish versions.  At the same time, users in Denmark and Germany will have access to more content via Preview Networks new DVD / Blu Ray Channel. The application will also deliver video in Mobile HD format for optimal picture quality.

Filmtrailers On The Go!

In our quest to spread our film trailers to as many people and platforms as possible we have created a video podcast! It is updated as soon as we get a new film added, so almost daily, and it means you can watch all the coolest new trailers on your ipod on the go, on the bus, train, or in the bath, if you so want! You will never miss a trailer again.

Its currently available in a Dutch, Swedish, German or English version and is called New movie / film trailers from www.filmtrailer.com, in the respective language.

In the UK we are mostly excited about the fact that our shiny video podcast have risen so much in popularity. It now ranks 7th on iTunes when you search for “film trailers” and 6th for “cinemas” and that is just after a couple of weeks.
